Yours truly
I am Guillaume Loignon, a philosophy grad student at University of Montreal. My current academic interests are:
- the mind/body dualism in Leibniz
- Vincent Hendrick’s Mainstream and formal epistemology
- misc. pedagogy and classroom management stuff
I am also doing research for a memoir (or “short thesis”), working title: Le matérialisme scientifique peut-il tenir compte des émotions ? (I.e. “Can scientific materialism explain emotions?”) If you stay tuned, you will learn alot more about that short thesis, the true central character of this journal.
This blog serves as a notebook for my memoir, as a sandbox to practice English writing and a blog about my first steps as a teacher.
